Descriptions

There are approximately 1 200 properties on the FCO overseas estate with gas installations and appliances. Each one requires an annual gas inspection. The properties are grouped into geographical regional packages. The requirement is for competent, accredited contractors to undertake annual inspections of gas installations, fittings and appliances to the standards indicated in the FCO specification irrespective of the ownership of those items, minor repairs, identification and execution of remedial works. The requirement is to establish regional service contracts with suitably qualified and accredited contractors to deliver gas inspection and testing regime over the next 4 years.
