Descriptions
All 4000 properties on the FCO overseas estate require an electrical inspection at least once every 5 years. The inspections are scheduled on a 5 year rolling programme. Each year, approximately 800 properties (1/5 of the estate) are inspected, properties are grouped in to geographical regional packages. The requirement is to establish regional framework agreements for competent, accredited contractors to deliver periodic electrical inspections and testing and essential safety works on a worlwide basis for the next 4 years.
