WS23/2 - Multiparty Framework Agreement for the supply of Art Class Materials to Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board Schools and Centres
Descriptions
Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board intend appointing multi suppliers to supply art class materials for WWETB schools and centres. Please note the ‘List of Supplies’ for tender (Appendix 5) is a list generated for the purpose of this tender and does not guarantee that all items will be purchased or that additional items may be required. The tender is divided into 3 Lots. Tenderers may submit proposals for one or more lots and must be clear on which lots they are tendering for in their response. The minimum contract awarded will be one Lot. The quantities may also be varied depending on the funding available. Tenderers may tender for one or several lots. The three lots are as follows: Lot 1 General Art Supplies Lot 2 Textiles and Embroidery Lot 3 Ceramic Supplies In the case of a multi-party framework agreement, contracts will be awarded in accordance with the process outlined herein. It is emphasised that a framework agreement constitutes no guarantee to purchase a specific quantity of supplies or services from a particular economic operator. It is the intention of the Contracting Authority to establish a Multi-Supplier Framework from which call-off contracts may be drawn down from the following methods 1) Cascade call off method (first ranked supplier), 2) by ‘request for quotes’ to all panelled members or 3) Mini-competition where all panelled framework members receive a Supplementary Request for Tender. It is expected this method of drawdown will be used where an office/school/centre defines their requirements over a period of time will be run by the some centres as requirements arise over the lifetime of the Framework Indeed, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to operate outside of the framework agreement at its discretion, particularly should it become apparent that doing so would offer greater value for money.
