West Sussex County Council (WSCC / the Council) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified organisations to provide a range of services and support to the Council to deliver, develop and grow the Experience West Sussex offer. This work started in 2015 from an identified need to promote West Sussex to a new, younger target market from London and the wider South East as a place to visit and stay, based on the best of what the County has to offer the audience. The aims have been to introduce a new audience to the County and its businesses; to support the visitor economy and have a positive economic impact from increasing visitor spend; and encouraging more visitors to stay overnight. The campaign messages and content have also been used to encourage residents to enjoy and experience what is on their doorstep. For 2017, the campaign goals are: plus 28,700 social followers and page likes 147,667 engagements on social media 28,147 link clicks to the website Onsite engagement: under 70 percent of time on site more than 50 seconds The core service is to propose a marketing plan annually to achieve the objectives (and initially for 2018) to include the design, delivery and evaluation of the Experience West Sussex digital marketing campaign for the year. The additional service is to propose, as part of the marketing plan, additional marketing activities to achieve the objectives.
