Descriptions
The entertainment ride will be predominately on a steeped hillside with changing levels throughout. The design is approximately 1020m in length, including the incline and length of slide, with a difference in altitude of 75m which incorporates a looped section and raised sections over verges with varying heights circa 1-4m with foundations for support. The ride will feed through an enclosed envelope, due to be completed prior to the installation of the ride and will include a station at the top and bottom of the hill for release and propulsion of the ride cars. The Principal Contractor will only manage the Alpine Coaster Contractors from a Health & Safety perspective . The Alpine Coaster Contractor will be a Main Contractor and required to manage all the works that forms part of this Alpine Coaster contract. Proposed contract is the SBCC Design & Build Contract for use in Scotland (DB/Scot) 2016 edition with client specific amendments.
