Young People’s Travel Behaviour – Evidence Review

Descriptions

The Department for Transport (DfT) wishes to commission a project to investigate young people’s travel behaviour, which will include a systematic review and secondary analysis of existing datasets. The project will focus on how young people’s lifestyles have changed, how they may change in the future, and how these factors have and will impact future travel demand. The project will take place in two phases. The first will be a systematic review of the evidence base, guided by a core research question and six core evidence themes. The second will be a secondary quantitative and qualitative analysis phase which will be guided by the findings of the review, and subject to formal sign off by the contract manager before proceeding.
