Descriptions

The Provider ensures that young people can make informed decisions at key points in their lives and enable them to access high quality information, specifically in relation to: education, training and employment opportunities post-16. The Provider is responsible for encouraging and capturing the feedback of young people, their parents and carers who are accessing careers information, advice and guidance to indicate the quality of the information provided. The Provider ensures that young people at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) or who become NEET are engaged in a support network (for example, but not limited to, a social network) that supports them into education, training or employment. The Provider is responsible for ensuring that young people access the information, participate in the feedback mechanism employed and take advantage of the participation activities offered.
