There is a thriving and dynamic voluntary youth sector supporting young people in towns and rural areas in Cumbria. Clubs, groups and organisations run by staff and volunteers are part of Cumbria's broader Youth Offer to young people.The Youth Sector Infrastructure specification shall support the youth work organisations and any of the youth workforce by:— building on their strengths and further developing capacity and quality in relation to governance, sustainability and workforce development;— bringing them together; keeping them informed; building their capacity, skills and knowledge; raising standards; providing opportunities for collaborative working and sharing good practice; and championing the sector at strategic levels;— developing the approach to deliver outcomes-based services and help to measure impact on individuals and communities.
