YPAS Service
Descriptions
The YPAS service is part of the overarching Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) commissioned for local patients. YPAS work as part of a specific local Liverpool CAMHS partnership alongside other local NHS, independent and voluntary sector providers in the local area who have all agreed to work collaboratively in their service delivery. YPAS delivers a prevention and early intervention model through operating three community based mental health hubs delivering the following services for CYP aged 5-25 years and their families:•Open access drop-in•Mental health wellbeing support/social prescribing•Parenting and family programmes•Counselling and psychological therapies•Alternative to crisis service•Primary Care Liaison•Mental health Support Teams in Schools (MHST)•Targeted services for CYP who identify as LGBTQ+ and refugee and asylum seekers
