Conwy County Borough Council has appointed a suitably qualified company for the design and build of a new special educational needs school to replace the existing school on the site.The works will include the demolition of the existing school, the construction of the new school and a detached technology unit to achieve BREEAM Excellent standard, the refurbishment of an existing pupil residential unit for the school and associated landscaping and external works.The new school building will accommodate pupils in the 4 to 19 age range and will include the full range of educational facilities including a sports hall and a hydrotherapy pool.
