The provision of a response assessment service to pollution incidents resulting from our operations.The successful bidder will provide an urgent field response to suspected and confirmed pollution incidents to record environmental and water quality data and evidence. The response will be timely and accurate with performance managed through a number performance indicators against agreed targets.The bidder will also be required to support this activity with environmental monitoring capability to undertake a programme of background and recovery monitoring, again focussing on but not wholly limited water quality assessment.Suitably resourced and trained teams will deliver best practice assessment of key environmental determinands, advise on mitigation and remediation and have an appreciation of the regulatory impact of pollution incidents on water and sewage companies.
