Descriptions
The Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) is Ireland’s independent energy and water regulator. The CRU’s mission is to protect the public interest in Water, Energy and Energy Safety. In accordance with its 2022-24 Draft Strategic Plan, the CRU is guided by four strategic priorities that sit alongside the core activities we undertake to deliver in the public interest. These are: i. Ensure Security of Supply; ii. Drive a Low Carbon Future; iii. Empower and Protect Customers; and iv. Enable our People and Organisational Capacity. CRU is now seeking to appoint a service provider for the provision of a Legal Case Management Solution, and associated services, for the management of legal cases within the CRU Legal Team, and for the management of prosecution cases within the Safety Supervisory Body (SSB) Team (https://www.cru.ie/professional/compliance-enforcement/safety/#electrical-contractors-and-gas-installers). At present, the Legal Case Management Solution is only used by the teams listed above, however under the new contract there may be an additional requirement for the CRU Compliance & Enforcement Team and / or other teams within CRU, over the next 4 Years. The service provider will be required to include pricing for additional licenses and associated professional services, to accommodate any future growth or expansion, as and when the need arises. The service provider, appointed under this contract, will be responsible for the provision of a Legal Case Management Solution, for the required teams, and the delivery of all aspects of the service, including the creation of the two secure cloud based environments (CRU Legal & CRU SSB) and associated user accounts, customisation of workflows, transfer of all existing data and associated records from the existing databases and document stores, hosting, licensing, backups, training and support.
