The purpose of this RFI is to gather market information for the provision of a Technical Expert in the clothing/textile industry. The Houses of the Oireachtas Service (“the Service”), acting for and on behalf of the Houses of the Oireachtas Commission (“the Contracting Authority”) is considering the establishment of a future arrangement for the provision of uniforms. The Contracting Authority wishes to engage a Technical Expert in the clothing/textile industry to evaluate sample uniforms against the Houses of the Oireachtas detailed design and fabric specifications as part of our Tendering process.The Contracting Authority is responsible for the running of the Houses of the Oireachtas, or Irish Parliament, (Dáil Éireann, Seanad Éireann and Oireachtas Committees), and acts as governing body of the Service (further information is available at www.oireachtas.ie).
