The Advanced Environmental Works will include Site Clearance, Fencing and the construction of a new purpose-built bat roost approximately 5m x 6m building providing suitable habitat for lesser horseshoe bats, brown long-eared bats and other bat species (including big bat species – noctule/serotine). The works also include an artificial badger sett to be provided 6 months in advance of the existing sett closure. Sett closure according to standard guidelines, including 3 weeks’ monitoring prior to destruction under ecological supervision.
