Descriptions
This contract is for the provision of surface dressing and micro-carriageway surfacing. Surface dressing is a hot material that seals the road surface, improves the surface texture and prolongs the life of a road. It is a speedy, efficient and economical method of preventative maintenance causing less disruption to traffic. Micro surfacing is a cold applied polymer modified bitumen emulsion, small aggregate and cement which overlays an existing surface which can fill in ruts, treats cracks, seals porous surfaces and can restore minor to moderate loss of carriageway profile.
