The medieval Abingdon Abbey Buildings (Grade 1) were opened to the public by the Friends of Abingdon Civic Society in the 1940's. In the 1950's part was converted to create the Unicorn Theatre, which holds regular performances. They are used for functions and events and are set in attractive gardens. The Friends now wish to undertake a programme of conservation and alterations to make them more accessible and improve their sustainability.
