The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent (The Commissioner) is responsible for representing the people of Gwent and ensuring the services provided by the police force is efficient and effective.Within the Commissioners estate; one police station and custody unit is operated under a PFI contract, located in Ystrad Mynach. As part of its on-going cost review exercise, Gwent Police are currently reviewing all property costs, a significant amount of which is tied into its PFI contract and is now seeking to appoint a PFI specialist to advise on and negotiate amendments to the contract in order to identify and deliver financial savingsNOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
