We are looking for an experienced main contractor who will work under the direction of the project manager.In brief, the works consists of the demolition and removal of the existing village hall and the construction of a new hall. The contract is grant funded.The work consists of multi trade requirements including but not limited to the following:-Ground works, timber frame construction, roofing, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, building, insulating, plastering, and decorating.As the main contractor, it would be your responsibility to assess and employ suitable sub-contractors. Suitable insurance cover is a prerequisite. All work is to be carried out according to the plans, guidance of the approved planning permission and compliance with all requirements, e.g. SAP report, Bat report, and asbestos report.
