As part of its statutory duty, and in line with its vision, priorities and values, Westmorland and Furness Council has commissioned this All-Age Carers Service to support unpaid carers across Westmorland and Furness.
A Carer is anyone who looks after a family member, partner or friend who needs help because of their physical or mental health, disability, or an addiction, and would find it difficult to manage without their support. The care they give is unpaid.
Carers can be of any age, supporting a child or an adult.
