Longford County Council has received Part 8 Planning approval for the Proposed Construction of 2 No. Industrial/Commercial Warehousing Units at Knock, Lanesboro, County Longford. The proposed development involves:A detached 2400 sq. m and 1250 sq. m industrial/unit, to include provision for 5 no. ‘food hub’ incubation units, associated parking, and all ancillary facilities.Premier Lakelands Food Hub CLG, with the support of Longford County Council, funded by Enterprise Ireland and the Just Transition Fund 2020 plan to construct a commercial food hub development, with 4- 5 food preparation chambers for lease, a community retail area for tenants and surrounding farmers and a community kitchen and preparation area in Lanesboro, County Longford. The project is located at Knocks, Lanesboro, County Longford and is adjacent to the existing Fire Station.
