Asbestos Removal Works

L&Q is planning a retender of its asbestos removal services across its stock in London, the South and East and in the North West.

One of the key aims for this procurement is to achieve the highest standard of asbestos management and work practice. We are looking for Contractors who will work with us to reduce and prevent issues, keep our colleagues, contractors and residents safe, while ensuring our buildings comply with safety regulations. Working together will allow us to provide safer homes and a more effective service for our residents.

In order to achieve these aims we are considering our options for service requirements and approach and would like the market to provide feedback that can help us refine and finalise our approach.

Our current strategy is to have three Lots:

1. South - award of up to two contracts

2. North - award of up to two contracts

3. North West - award of one contract

We estimate contract values to be approximately £90,000 - 125,000 pa for contracts in the South and North. And approximately £10,000 - 25,000 per annum for the contract in the North West.

Contracts will be for a period of 6 years.

A questionnaire is availble for suppliers to complete. In expressing an interest your company will gain access to the tender documents when published regardless whether you complete the questionnaire or not.
