The Contracting Authority ATU Galway City is proposing to award a contract under the open procedure for works involving the upgrade and reconfiguration of a number of existing laboratories, classrooms and miscellaneous spaces.The work is located in various locations over 2 floors in the main building and also in a number of adjacent prefabs. See site layouts (Drawing No 1, 2 & 3). This will be a turnkey project which will be ready to move into upon completionThe main elements involved are as follows:•Replacement of external door.•Small scale ground works eg paths, ramps•Demolitions•Alterations to door openings / walls / floors•Installation / Modifications of suspended ceilings•Electrical alterations / Installations.•Mechanical alterations / Installations.•Decoration.•Floor finishes including sealing of floors•Installation of built in furniture (benching, shelving & storage units).•Installation of existing lecture hall tip-up seating to new roomsPlease refer to the attached documentation for further information.
