BIM wishes to invite tenders to refresh the definition BIM’s innovation service offering, and for the deployment of the updated service. This tender is divided into 2 phases as follows:•Phase 1: facilitate the definition of an updated BIM innovation service.•Phase 2: facilitate the transition from the current service offering to the new offering.The primary purpose of this tender is to ensure that BIM’s innovation service offering is optimised and that the optimised service is deployed. BIM is in need of a clear, broad-based strategy for innovation which encompasses both internal and external aspects of innovation. An innovation strategy is vital as it: •Ensures a link between innovation activities and desired organisational outcomes;•Supports broader engagement with innovation within the organisation; and•Focuses leadership decision making and maintains innovation as a key agenda item. An effective innovation strategy for BIM should take into account both the internal innovation needs of BIM and also the innovation requirements of the broader seafood sector in Ireland.
