Building-cleaning services. Building cleaning services for Dudley College presently operating over six sites based in the Dudley area. The College has and is undergoing renewal and modernisation, a process which has seen four new campus sites built and others adapted. Approximate gross internal floor area of all sites is 40 500 sq m. There are 15 500 students, both daytime and evening attendees. The objective of the tendering process is to appoint a reliable and competitive cleaning contractor. Main cleaning activities are currently carried out between the hours 6.00-8.00 am. Supported by janitorial cleaning in the main public areas in daytime periods. More specific periodical cleaning is carried out outside of the termtime operation. If more specialist cleaning is required, contractors will be asked to provide a separate quotation. It is assumed that TUPE will apply to this contract.
