Contract for the Victoria Line Fleet Cab HVAC Overhaul and Post Overhaul Repairs. There are 47 trains with 8 cars on the Victoria line (09TS). Each train has two cabs, one at each end. Each 09TS cab has two HVAC modules installed on the underframe on the left and right-hand side (non-driver's side and driver's side respectively, The purpose of the cab HVAC modules is to supply fresh air to the cab and maintain the thermal comfort of those in the cab, principally the train operator.
