CEL1 - Consultancy Services for a the DBFO/DBO for Celbridge Civic Amenity Center

Kildare County Council requires Engineering Consultancy Services in relation to a Concession Contract for Celbridge Civic Amenity Center, for the services described in Appendix 1 of the Tender and Schedule including the following stages:Stage (ii) Detailed DesignStage (iii) Tender Action, Evaluation and AwardStage (iv) ConstructionStage (v) Handover of WorksIn the context of this procurement process, the terms "Civic Amenity Centre" and "Civic Amenity Site" shall mean facilities where the public can dispose of household waste and includng recycling points. The proposed civic amenity site is situated approximately 2.4km to the north of Celbridge town centre, in the townlands of Castletown and Kilmacredock Upper. The site is also located in close proximity to several other settlements in the surrounding areas including Leixlip to the north-east and Maynooth to the north-west. Celbridge itself is a large conurbation in Co Kildare to the West of DublinThe Proposed Civic Amenity will be for mixed household municipal waste streams, with a maximum capacity of 7,500 tonnes per annum, and comprising the following buildings:i.A single storey (166.83m2) Administration/ Staff Buildingii.A single storey (33m2) Pay Station Buildingiii.A single storey (11m2) Weighbridge Buildingiv.A single storey (57.64m2) Household Hazardous Waste Storage BuildingAdditional works required to support the facility include internal roads and set down areas; a site wastewater treatment plant; material handling areas; staff and visitor parking, moveable waste skips; CCTV, public lighting and landscape works (including retaining walls), in addition to all necessary services and utility provision and associated site works.The proposed development also includes modifications to the R449 adjacent to the proposed site entrance including a right hand turning lane and associated road.The contract for the Design, Build, Finance, and Operation of the centre will be a Concession Contract and Kildare County Council intends to o
