Ceredigion County Council is inviting suitable contractors to apply for inclusion on the Council''s Select Tender List for Engineering Construction. The Engineering Division of the Council uses the Select List to choose contractors to invite to tender for a range of Civil Engineering and related works, up to the value of the EU threshold for public procurement. Invitations to tender for individual projects are sent to (usually) six contractors. Contractors are chosen from the appropriate category in a strict rotation system.We are looking for Civil Engineering Contractors with suitable expertise and experience in any of the following categories:Category 1 - Highway & Engineering Construction and MaintenanceCategory 2 - Highway Structures (Bridges, Culverts, Retaining Walls, etc) Construction and MaintenanceCategory 3 - Highway ResurfacingCategory 4 - Street Lighting InstallationPlease note that the Select List will not be used for the construction and maintenance of buildings, so general building contractors need not apply.
