Chief Highway Engineer Memorandums - validate and withdrawal

Descriptions

National Highways is looking to set up a contract for cleansing of old CHE memos. This is a follow on task from T0477 which was delivered in FY2324 that undertook a comprehensive review of the CHE memos process including roles and responsibilities around production, governance, approval and publication of CHE memos, its implementation across the business and how they are communicated to the supply chain. On completion of the review a handover report was written and presented to the business outlining recommendations and further actions that needed to be undertaken to resolve outstanding activities to complete a transformation of the old CHE memos way of working. In phase 1 292 published CHEs were reviewed of which 114 were withdrawn and a further 178 historic memos remained in the system that need to be validated and either withdrawn or retained. This commission will review the 178 CHE memos.
