Descriptions
The Civil Term Maintenance contract comprises mainly of ground works, however also incorporates a comprehensive range of other work types covering the infrastructure at the Port of Felixstowe. The contract will comprise of the undertaking of maintenance and minor civil engineering works to roads, drainage, fueling facilities, warehouses, workshops, quay walls and berths, Ro-Ro facilities, office buildings and development land, railways, site services, container yards, haulage parks and associated works and snow clearing. Applicable regulations/compliance are (but not limited to) Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007, Specification for Highway Works, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated regulations.
