Descriptions
Leicester City Council invites tenders from suitably qualified Suppliers to deliver the Connect to Work IPS provision across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The IPS provision support people with health conditions, disabilities or other barriers to move into and sustain paid employment. The service will be delivered using the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model for both Out of Work and In Work (Retention) eligible people, an evidence-based approach that integrates employment support within health and community services.
LCC is the lead Accountable Body for this Connect to Work Provision in Leicester in association with Leicestershire County Council and Rutland County Council and LCC shall be working with these three constituent Local Authorities and be responsible for the commissioning and procurement of the Connect to Work delivery.
The requirement is divided into three Lots each providing identical services as follows:
Lot 1 - Leicester
The Supplier will deliver the IPS provision for residents who are eligible within the Leicester City Council Local Authority boundary.
Lot 2 - Leicestershire
The Supplier will deliver the IPS provision for residents who are eligible within the Leicestershire County Council Local Authority boundary.
Lot 3 - Rutland
The Supplier will deliver the IPS provision for residents who are eligible within the Rutland County Council Authority boundary.
The lotting structure and allocations stated above, as part of this tender shall remain fixed and unchanged for the full duration of the contracts. Any Local Government reorganisation, boundary changes, or transfer of authority shall have no impact to the above lotting arrangements and the above will continue to apply in full for the full term of the Contracts.
The proposed contract will be for a maximum of four years to 31 March 2030.
