Durham County Council Durham and Durham University Energy Institute are looking into a potential tender exercise for an Innovation Solid Wall Insulation Project. The Council have applied for ERDF funding and is awaiting confirmation of the bid’s success. If unsuccessful an alternative funding source may be identified. The SWII project will deliver a ‘Whole Place’ energy efficiency innovation programme in a minimum of210 fuel poor homes in former mining villages such as South Moor, Ramshaw, Cockfield and Ferryhill.
