Anglian Water Services (hereafter AWS) are seeking to enter into a PPA framework with anumber of renewable energy generation counterparties, with the aim of running minicompetitions for defined volumes of power on our journey to net zero carbon. AWS currentlyimport >600GWh of electricity from the grid, and this framework will support our ambitionso be 45% renewable by 2025, and 100% by 2030.Our intention is utilise this framework to bring significant volumes of power into our supplymix from October 2023.
