We have been asked to improve the security on this site. The residents have made complaints that unsavoury people are using the area as a toilet, rough sleeping, litter dropping and drugs.There are 15 ground floor flats, 15 first floor flats and 2 two storey dwellings.It has been proposed to demolish and remove the existing• 18 large planters approximately a metre high, with plants can stand double this height be removed.• 16 dividing walls between the flats down through the length of the blocks be removed.• 14 pebbled decorative surface dividing the planters, resurface to a flat surface to reduce the possibilities of slips and trips.On completion of the demolition and resurfacing of these areas, a security light with its own censor would be installed under each porch to illuminate the doors and path area.
