Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust will be tendering for the supply and provision of a new network for their Metropolitan LAN due to aging infrastructure. The high-level requirement is for: New core architecture to operate as a fabric for 125 sites including two data centres. Maintain support for existing core and data centre switches Bring into support all edge switches Reduce complexity of the incumbent design Increase security and simplify management of the new solution Simplified provisioning of edge devices Flexible network to meet agile business requirements Enhanced alerting, reporting and analytics Maintain connectivity for the server infrastructure Support for technologies: IoT VoIP Microsoft Teams Microsoft Office Setup a model site Complete SAT / UAT Training Migration Support Connectivity is mainly dark fibre around the distribution and half of the edge sites. The remaining edge sites are connected by MPLS networks on a HSCN COIN and a private MPLS. The solution and services will be procured through the Crown Commercial Service's framework - Network Services 3 (RM6116), Lot 2A. We are anticipate releasing the procurement tender closing on Thursday, 30th November 2023. As such we are inviting all those suppliers currently listed on Lot 2A register with the Trust's procurement portal, 'Health Family Single e-Commercial System' (Atamis). Details of which are included in this notice.
