Hampshire and Isle of Wight (HIOW) Integrated Care System has an ageing population. However, HIOW rates are higher than the national average with 22% of the population being over 65 compared to 18.6% for England. HIOW have the sixth oldest population as an ICS nationally. The Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) service provides structured, evidence-based group therapy to support people living with mild to moderate stages of a dementia. The program consists of themed activities designed to actively stimulate and engage individuals, while promoting social interaction and cognitive function. It is currently the only non-drug treatment recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) for mild to moderate dementia. The aims of the service are: • Maintain or improve cognitive functioning and quality of life. • Enhance communication and social interaction. • Delay the inevitable progression of dementia • Support individuals to remain active, engaged, and independent for as long as possible This request for information is to gather feedback from suppliers, the deadline for feedback is 12noon on 24 September 2025.
