The Task & Finish Group for Residential Care under the Ministerial Advisory Group for Improving Outcomes for Looked After Children, wishes to appoint a partner to deliver training sessions on Trauma Informed Care to a range of professionals from both the public and private care home sector across Wales.The successful partner will deliver training sessions across all six Welsh regions which will enable professionals to understand and respond to the impact of trauma on our children who are looked after.The successful supplier is required to deliver the following:A minimum of six regional workshops (likely to be virtual under the current circumstances) We suggest that the training is structured as below:Residential care staff: how to work effectively with children and young people in a trauma informed way.Residential care managers: how to support staff to work effectively with children and young people in a trauma informed way, and;Train the Trainer Sessions and the provision of a training pack to support umbrella training.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
