Development of Sardis Road Car Park and Sardis House

As part of the Council’s regeneration Framework for Pontypridd, the Council is seeking to develop Sardis Road Carpark and Sardis House and wishes to engage with development partners within the market to come forward with ideas for the site(s).The Council is particularly keen to explore developments with office accommodation on Sardis Road Car Park. Sardis House is also part of this project and the Council wishes to procure a development partner who can deliver innovative, flexible solutions which are commercially viable and will ensure the Council’s ambitions to regenerate Pontypridd are met.The Council may consider taking some space within the development.The Council is considering the most appropriate transaction models and proposals for the most effective structure and delivery model are welcomed as part of this market sounding exercise.This Market Consultation exercise is an opportunity for potential bidders to participate in shaping the Council’s procurement strategy and gain insight into the proposed development strategy. Potential bidders who are interested in this opportunity are invited to download the Request for Information (RFI) questionnaire via the www.etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk and complete no later than 2nd July 2019. Potential development partners who submit a questionnaire may be invited to a dialogue / question and answer session with the Council.
