Early Years Foundation Stage reforms: Expert support to develop online content - Tranche 2
Descriptions
The purpose of this prior information notice is to notify the market of the Department for Education's (DfE) intention to undertake a procurement exercise to appoint up to 4 suitably experienced organisations or individuals to support the implementation of the revised Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The revised EYFS will become statutory from September 2021 and will impact all early years providers in England. One of the ways we are supporting providers to implement the revised EYFS is through the development of an online support offer aimed at the pre-reception workforce (private, voluntary and independent providers (PVIs) and childminders). This online support offer will ensure the pre-reception workforce have the messaging and support they need to implement the changes consistently and in line with the policy intention. The Department for Education is looking to appoint early years experts to work with the DfE digital design team to support the development of the content for this online offer. This PIN notifies of our intention to procure for experts with specialisms in physical education, literacy, understanding the world, expressive arts and design. The Department reserves the right to extend this contract by up to a further 2 months in monthly increments subject to business need.
