The provision of an email service provider is being led by Membership Marketing for membership retention, acquisition and CRM purposes. Other departments also currently use broadcast marketing; CRM and transactional emails to customers, including our online shop, holiday cottages, education, and travel trade; and their needs also need to be met. Our email marketing fits into a wider integrated campaign plan across the business (including direct mail, social media and content marketing, telemarketing and other offline comms) assisting us to achieve the following objectives: o Encouraging use of membership. o Increase Member engagement. o Bringing in additional revenue e.g. donations. o Win back lapsed Members. o Recruit new Members. o Increased site visits and attendance of events by Members and by visitors who have booked using SEE tickets or other non-Members. We are therefore looking to ensure that we have the best systems and tools in place to deliver sophisticated digital campaigns, including triggered, segmented and personalised mailings based on customer lifecycles, preferences and behaviours.
