EOI - Construction of Integrated Sea Trout Facility

The Client proposes to construct an integrated polychaete worm and fish rearing facility comprising fish ponds, sea water intake, water treatment and other infrastructure works. The works will involve infrastructure and construction works in an environmentally sensitive area with minimal disruption to the coastal marine environment and surrounding farming areas. This project comprises 10 aquaculture ponds for the production of both polychaete worms and fish. Each pond will be 160m x 11m x 1.5m and will require all necessary ground work to provide a level surface for the build. The ponds are constructed with sustainable timber frame and timber planking, liner and sand substrate. The project will include water treatment plant, environmental equipment, fish handling equipment and all associated electrical and mechanical installations. Experience and knowledge of similar projects must be demonstrated.
