Cardiff University, School of Biosciences requires 6 epitaxial wafers of In(Ga)As (Indium Gallium Arsenide) quantum dots emitting at 1300nm embedded in a AlGaAs (Aluminium Gallium Arsenide)/GaAs (Gallium Arsenide).The wafers will be used for the fabrication of photonic devices for the development of lab-on-chip optical biosensor as part of the research activity of Ser Cymru fellowship of Dr Masia. The fabrication will be performed at the School of Physics and Institute of Compound Semiconductors cleanroom facilities.
