The Council have embarked on a 3-year Housing Capital Programme. As such the Council are looking to procure contractors to deliver upgrades to carry out estate Improvements and/or roofing renewals to 5 key estates in the borough. The aim of the Estate improvements to Beatty Road is to Erect full scaffolding to all blocks to renew facia boards/soffits, downpipes, guttering, pointing and brickwork repairs, full redecorations to all externals and communal parts, renewal and re-bedding of external paving. Beatty Road forms part of the Glebe Estate in Stanmore and consists of 121 properties in 5 blocks on a cul-de-sac off Beatty Road. The proposals will see upgraded rainwater goods, pointing and brickwork repairs, full redecorations to all externals and communal parts and renewal and re-bedding of external paving that had posed a health & safety risk. As the estate has mixed tenancy blocks, some of the properties on this programme are subject to Section 20 of Landlord & Tenant Act 1985 (as amended) processes.
