External Assurance Review of MPFT Digital Data and Information Team

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is initiating a pre-market engagement exercise to invite expressions of interest from suppliers and assess market capacity for the potential provision of External Assurance Review of MPFT Digital Data and Information Team. NHS England instructed Trusts to focus on cutting 50% of the growth of Corporate/Infrastructure Services since 2018/19, and MPFT’s own financial plan has identified opportunities across the MPFT Digital team’s pay and non-pay budgets to support the Trust reach a break-even financial position. Whilst it has been possible to draw together an Equality Impact Assessment for the wider MPFT Digital infrastructure, there is a need to seek external review and assurance of opportunities for the Trust’s Data and Information Team where this has not been possible to date.
Engagement
The Trust will engage suppliers through a structured Request for Information process. Interested suppliers will be invited to complete a response template. Responses should be submitted by 9am, Friday 14th November 2025 via email to procurement@mpft.nhs.uk
