HIAL operates across 11 geographically dispersed airports at Barra, Benbecula, Campbeltown, Dundee, Inverness, Islay, Kirkwall, Stornoway, Sumburgh, Tiree and Wick. Each of the locations have their own dedicated HIAL Airport Fire Service (AFS) providing fully operational fire and rescue services in and around the airports. There is a requirement for a fully managed provision of Fire-fighting Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes the associated Laundry and Repair service for all AFS staff within the HIAL group, including new recruits, when and where required, within agreed timescales, whilst always ensuring best value. This Request for Information seeks feedback on supply market capability, supply market capacity and indicative costs in relation to this provision.
