Thames Valley Housing Association (TVHA) is currently bidding for the Former Frimley Children's Centre development Project which is being procured by the Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.TVHA is conducting this competitive procurement process to select a contractor to appoint to carry out the construction works required under a design and build contract, in the event that TVHA is successful in its bid for the project.Under the design and build contract the contactor will be required to construct a mixed tenure residential development comprising new-build, conversion of a locally listed building, and associated hard and soft landscaping.The new-build element consists of:(a) 19 shared accommodation units, each comprising 4 en-suite rooms, and kitchen/reception rooms; 10 1 bed apartments; and associated ancillary space in medium rise blocks, all for rent to keyworkers; and(b) 10 x 4 bedroom houses and 14 apartments (in 2 blocks) for sale.The conversion element comprises approximately 10 apartments for sale.Further information about the design and build contract is included in the Pre Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ).Applicants should note that TVHA will only be awarding a contract pursuant to this procurement process if it is successful in its bid for the Former Frimley Children's Centre development project being procured by the Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
