Dorset County Council is seeking a single provider for the inspection and maintenance of PE, Sports, Gymnastic Equipment, Mini Trampolines and Trampolines, including the option of direct supply, plus the inspection of outside play equipment.Schools have a responsibility to ensure that all equipment used in maintained in a safe condition, inspections are currently carried out on an annual basis (where facilities are available to the public inspections are carried out three times a year).The Framework will provide a full comprehensive service and maintenance program that reflects the usage of the equipment and the establishments. With the Supplier providing a certificate of inspection to the establishment concerned at the end of a site visit.
