Furniture (Design, Supply, Install and Recycle) Framework

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), wish to establish a Multi-Supplier Framework for the design, supply, install and recyling of Furniture, with a duration of 2 years with 2 optional extensions of 1 year after the initial 2 years (2+1+1) from commencement of the Contract. The total value is £5,000,000.00 Exc. VAT however this is just an estimate for the whole 4 years and is not guarenteed. The supplier(s) will support on both business as usual (BAU) orders and project works mainly at our site at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL) in Oxfordshire but also providing assistance, when needed at our smaller site, The STFC Chilbolton Observatory in Hampshire (SO20 6BJ) and the STFC owned hotel- The Coseners House also in Oxfordshire. The Framework will operate on a ranking basis, with the highest-ranked suppliers receiving priority for work allocation. Engagement

A Prior Information notice was published on 13th February 2025 (reference 2025/S 000-004996). UKRI held 2 Supplier Engagement Events on Monday 3rd March and Tuesday 4th March 2025. 10 Suppliers attended over the 2 days to which information on the requirement was presented along with a Site tour of the different type of office spaces we have at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory Site in Oxfordshire. Questions and discussions between Suppliers, UKRI Commercial and End User were then had regarding the requirement to help UKRI undestand the current market.
