Descriptions

The University of Bristol (UoB) wishes to consider applications from experienced providers of construction services who can provide high quality construction work using a customer focused approach in particular in the public sector.The provider will be expected to work closely, and co-operate with in-house and external design consultants, contractors and other partner providers. All contract performance will be monitored using a set of comprehensive performance indicators.There will be no obligation on the University of Bristol to enter into call off contracts with the providers appointed nor will any guarantee be given as to the quantity, value or regularity of call off contracts to be made.The anticipated types of work will include but not limited by the followng: Construction work, Building demolition and wrecking work and earthmoving work, Building construction work, Roof works and other special trade construction works, Building installation work, Electrical installation work, Insulation work, Plumbing and sanitary works, Fencing, railing and safety equipment installation work, Mechanical installations, Building completion work, Plastering work, Joinery and carpentry installation work, Floor and wall covering work, Painting and glazing work, Refurbishment and elemental replacement, Laboratory services, Generating sets, Solar energy.
