Exmouth Town Council recognises that, in addition to the wonderful work by the volunteers of Exmouth In Bloom, there is a need for retaining high quality horticultural maintenance in key areas to maintain the town's attractiveness to its community and visitors alike. For this reason, the Town Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified Contractors who wish to be considered to undertake grounds maintenance work from April 2021 including the supply of summer and winter plants and maintenance of horticultural features in key locations around the Town. The contractor will be expected to provide, for a minimum of three years, colour and vibrancy to the town in the form of a high-quality grounds maintenance service, which is effective, efficient and responsive to the needs of the Exmouth community. Horticultural features include flower beds, hanging baskets, rose beds, shrub beds mixed borders, hanging baskets and troughs placed in key locations. A tender pack is available on request from the Deputy Town Clerk, with instructions and information, a detailed specification, plant plan, as well as the evaluation criteria that will be used. Tenders will need to be submitted no later than Noon on 23rd November 2020. The Council will aim to award the contract and inform the successful contractor by 21st December, subject to a satisfactory tender being received.
