Tenders will be sought during week commencing 2nd April 2018 for the partial modification and complete fit-out of Ty Dysgu, Nantgarw – an office of approximately 28,000 ft2. The work will be completed in 2 phases with phase 1 consisting of Ground and 1st floors and phase 2 the 2nd floor. Phase 1 is planned to commence 25th May with a 14 week programme with phase 2 commencing on site on 20th August with a 15 week programme.The works will consist of alterations to the main entrance, modifications to the mechanical ventilation, provision of additional showers and toilet facilities, additional structured wiring and floor boxes and a complete fit-out to provide open-plan office accommodation and a number of meeting rooms and conference spaces. Sourcing and installation of furniture is also included within the tender package.The project will utilise JCT Minor Works Building Contract with Contract Design (2016).
